Double-tapping to select text

Apologies if this is a repeat, but search didn't find anything similar...

1. Tap a comment and the cursor appears, allowing you to edit the comment. Tap in the blank space to the right of the comment, edit-mode ends, and the cursor is placed after it, as expected. But tapping the same comment again, while the cursor is after it, merely relocates the cursor before the comment, when editing is expected. Please allow comments to be edited after a cursor is placed after them more than once.

2. Tap a comment and the cursor appears, allowing you to edit the comment. Double-tapping anywhere within the comment, edit-mode ends, and the entire comment is selected when a single word-selection, within the comment, while in edit-mode, is expected. Please allow double-tapping while in edit-mode, to select single word-selection.

3. Similarly... tap a Section to edit its name. But double-tapping the section name has unexpected results; text being selected is expected, but instead, the Section gets highlighted for no reason. Tapping the Section again has no effect. Please allow double-tapping, or subsequent tapping on Sections to have expected results.

Cheers

@1KE, thanks for the detailed feedback. I'll take this forward as we're looking at enhancements for editing. And there are a couple of pointers I can pass along right now that will (hopefully) make some of this easier.

1. Tap a comment and the cursor appears, allowing you to edit the comment. Tap in the blank space to the right of the comment, edit-mode ends, and the cursor is placed after it, as expected. [TAP AWAY] But tapping the same comment again, while the cursor is after it, merely relocates the cursor before the comment, when editing is expected. Please allow comments to be edited after a cursor is placed after them more than once.

Where I've inserted [TAP AWAY] above, tap away to any other area of the chart (besides the comment), then tap on the comment. That will allow re-selection of the comment. This should work consistently any time you're finding it hard to tap back into a comment... Tap elsewhere in the chart, then tap the comment.

Single-tapping is usually easier for text selection in a comment. So... 1.) Tap into the comment. 2.) Pause for a second, then single-tap beside the word you want to select. This will (usually) bring up the Select/Select All menu. If it doesn't, single-tap again.

3. Similarly... tap a Section to edit its name. But double-tapping the section name has unexpected results; text being selected is expected, but instead, the Section gets highlighted for no reason. Tapping the Section again has no effect. Please allow double-tapping, or subsequent tapping on Sections to have expected results.

This works as above... Single-tap into the Section, pause for a sec, single-tap again to generate Select/Select All.

One other note about the Section title: If the Section title is not currently highlighted for editing (i.e. doesn't have a cursor flashing in it), double-tap it to quickly select the entire section. This can be handy when you want to copy/paste an entire section.

Let me know if you have questions or further feedback, and thanks again!
